Paw Hepatoadvanced Tablets for Cats and Small Dogs <15kg - 60 Chews - New Pack Size

Paw Hepatoadvanced tablets contain the active ingredients S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe), Silybin, and Vitamin E in bioavailable forms for ultimate absorption. Same is a precursor to the antioxidant glutathione.

Increased levels of glutathione in the liver may help to protect liver cells from oxidative stress and aid in the maintenance and protection of liver function in the presence of certain drugs, toxins and disease processes. Silybin acts as an antioxidant, and has been shown to be more bioavailable to cats and dogs compared to milk thistle, which is often found in human liver supplements. Vitamin E provides detoxification support in the management of liver disease.

PAW Hepatoadvanced is formulated with a unique blend of antioxidants and hepatoprotective ingredients that are scientifically shown to improve biomarkers in pets suffering from acute & chronic liver disease.

Why use Hepatoadvanced?

  • Unique blend of SAMe, Silybin & vitamin E in bioavailable forms for ultimate absorption over 3 hours.
  • Supports the production of glutathione in pets suffering from chronic liver disease.
  • Hepatoadvanced may protect against negative effects on the liver caused by some medications.
  • Supports liver health in pets presenting with acute liver toxicity.
  • Supports brain health in dogs.

For Animal use Only

Note: Hepatoadvanced is for use only under the guidance and supervision of a veterinarian. We recommend that you consult your veterinarian regarding the suitability of this treatment for your pet prior to use. Regular re-assessment (eg every 1-3 months) is recommended to ensure the optimal dose is achieved to reach the desired therapeutic outcome.

Why is Hepatoadvanced important?

The liver is an incredibly complex organ that performs approximately 1500 different essential biochemical functions. Among its many tasks, the liver is involved in the metabolism and digestion of protein, carbohydrates, fats and vitamins, as well as metabolism of drugs and production of important substances involved in blood clotting. It has an incredible capacity for regeneration and repair, but like any organ can develop disease and potentially failure.

Acute and chronic liver diseases, exposure to toxins, and use of certain drugs including corticosteroids can result in oxidative stress to the cells of the liver (hepatocytes). Supplementation with SAMe, a precursor to the powerful antioxidant Glutathione, and powerful antioxidant Silybin, can help to reduce oxidative stress caused to hepatocytes, which may help to protect and maintain healthy liver function. Many veterinarians recommend the use of SAMe as an adjunctive treatment for conditions including: chronic hepatitis, hepatic lipidosis, cholangiohepatitis and neoplasia.
