DIRECTIONS FOR USE/CONTRAINDICATIONS

Mix Ranvet Flexi-Joint thoroughly through feed. A measure is provided. One level measure holds 30g Flexi-Joint.

Loading Dose (initial 4 weeks)

    30g once daily for a standard 500kg horse.
    Dosage may be increased or decreased under veterinary advice.

Maintenance Dose

    15g once daily for a standard 500kg horse.
    Dosage may be increased or decreased under veterinary advice.

Not advisable to be fed to pregnant or lactating animals or in conjunction with phenylbutazone (bute), as clotting factors may be affected.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Cartilage does not contain an active blood supply and subsequently, maintains structure and health by deriving nutrition from synovial fluid. It is therefore integral to provide the necessary building blocks of cartilage via dietary supply.
